Doug Collier, LUTCF®
Doug began his career in the financial service industry in 1989. He graduated from Florida State University with a BA in Finance and minored in Economics. Doug spent over 25 years with Lincoln Financial Advisors and is currently affiliated with J.W. Cole Financial providing personalized financial and estate planning. He works collaboratively with CPAs and Attorneys so that as a team, they can design the best outcome for each family's unique needs, goals and desires. Doug' goal is to allow his clients to have a great sense of purpose for their wealth. He strives to develop personal relationships with his clients and want to have fun working together.
Doug is very active in the community and has for years been involved with Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital and Memorial Hospital Foundation. Doug has been involved with numerous capital campaigns such as the expansion of the Children's Hospital and Calvary Christian Academy’s school expansion. He’s also currently on the Finance and Plan Giving Committees and has held the position of Treasurer in the past.
Doug is a lifelong South Florida resident. He and his wife Carol have a son, Mason and reside in Lighthouse Point, FL. They love spending time in the Keys fishing and traveling with Mason who is a dedicated baseball player who plays for his high school Calvary Christian Academy and during the summer he plays for the South Scorpions South Florida travel baseball team which requires the family to travel to numerous baseball facilities through the country.
